Pet Session - A Rustic Rural Farm by Happy Tails Pet Photography

As you may know we have a huge passion for dogs - but here on Itty Bitty & Fluffy blog, we share and celebrate stunning pet photography of different animals too! From dogs to cats, horses and now even a goat! We loved this session by Stacey of Happy Tails Pet Photography which captures a rustic rural farm and it's amazing owner and her precious animals - what a wonderful family they all make! We hand over to Stacey who tells us more about the session...

"This early morning session outside of Guelph, Ontario, included a horse, two ponies, a goat, four dogs, a handful of cats and chickens. The woman that runs this rural gem is quite remarkable. She’s an artist, a mother, and a grandmother, and she runs this farm essentially on her own with occasional help from generous neighbours and friends. She has a bad hip and she’s still up early turning out the horses and feeding the barn cats (she actually just had hip replacement surgery, so she's on bed rest for the next month or so). Most of the animals here were unwanted and she graciously took them in regardless of their condition or background, including Mickey, a very shy senior collie who had his tongue cut off by his previous owner for barking too much. She has adopted horses that were simply dropped off in her pastures."

"Bindi, the goat, has got to be one of the friendliest goats out there ... she followed me around the whole time, constantly nudging me and putting her nose in my ear. She is also very smiley! The "puppies" are Sarge and Patience ... they are Bernese-Great Pyrenees mixes. I use quotes because they are only nine months old, but are already huge! V'Lu (short for Voodoo) is a poodle and master of the house."

"This was a very peaceful and serene session and a really lovely way to spend a frosty April morning. I had free rein of the farm and grounds, and spent the morning walking around, visiting the animals and enjoying the fresh air. And, to top it off, I was tipped in fresh eggs!"

With Thanks to Stacey and everyone involved for sharing their session
with us and also their heartwarming story!
